The hollywood celebrity Katherine Heigl says she'll stay if 'Grey's' will have her

Katherine Heigl said Friday she's ready to stay with "Grey's Anatomy" and the decision rests with the show.

Attending a studio party to mark the ABC medical drama's 100th episode, Heigl said it's premature to think her days as Dr. Izzie Stevens are numbered.

"I was assuming that at one point and I got a lot of shrugged shoulders and shakes of the head, so I don't know if that's a yes or a no. No one will tell me and I don't know how this is going to go," Heigl said, noting series creator Shonda Rhimes' passion for plot secrecy. "I don't know if I live or die. I don't know how Izzie fares," said the actress, who's played the character since the show debuted in 2005.

"I'm there" if Izzie remains part of "Grey's Anatomy," Heigl said. She called the set "one of my favorite places to be" and said her colleagues are also friends.

She and fellow cast members, including Ellen Pompeo (Dr. Meredith Grey) and Patrick Dempsey (Dr. Derek Shepherd), were on hand for the celebration that included a cake decorated with scalpels and syringes made out of icing.

Rhimes, who's also an executive producer for the show, called the milestone a "huge accomplishment" and thanked the cast and crew for their efforts.

In an interview, she dropped a tantalizing clue about the episode airing May 7.

"The only thing I'll tell you about the 100th is that it takes place on Meredith and Derek's wedding day," Rhimes said. "That's big ... and that's all I'm going to say."

On Thursday's episode, Izzie was seen surviving brain surgery. There's been speculation that Heigl wants to pursue her blossoming film career ("Knocked Up," the upcoming "The Ugly Truth") full-time, and that her character might be killed off.
Rhimes declined comment on what would happen to Heigl's character.
Last month, fellow cast member James Pickens Jr. said Heigl was leaving the show, along with T.R. Knight, both of whom declined comment at the time. Knight missed the studio party because he'd previously scheduled the day off, an ABC spokeswoman said.

On Friday, Heigl said she's comfortable balancing movies and TV by working on big-screen projects during the summer hiatus for "Grey's Anatomy."

"I'm more than happy to make that compromise. As my agent likes to say, 'High-class problems,'" Heigl said.

"I don't know if I want to continue for five years working 12 months a year, but I can take at least another year or two," she said.

Dempsey said he intends to fulfill the remaining two years on his contract with "Grey's Anatomy and "then we'll see what happens after that."

The hollywood actress Adriana Lima's husband cleared of sexual assault

Supermodel ADRIANA LIMA's basketball star husband has been cleared of sexually assaulting a woman.
Memphis Grizzlies player Marko Jaric, 30, was under investigation amid claims he assaulted a woman in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania last weekend (7-8Mar09), reports Sports Illustrated.
Jaric, who married catwalk star Lima last month (Feb09), insists the accusations are "100 per cent false".

And his spokesperson reveals no charges will be filed.
The representative tells "I received official word from the Philadelphia District Attorneys office

that after a thorough investigation no charges will be filed against my client, Marko Jaric, in connection with the alleged incident with an unnamed female on February 11, 2009 while his team was in town to play the (Philadelphia) 76ers.

"Persons in Marko's position are often the target of malicious statements and it is not unusual for the police to be asked to investigate. However, these allegations were proved to be completely

false, and while Marko is extremely unsettled by these accusations, he is happy that the law enforcement authorities have cleared him of any criminal conduct and the issue can now be put to rest."

Shannen Doherty Reveals She'll Be Back on 90210

Women of 90210, you best hold on to your men!

Shannen Doherty herself just spilled to us that her man-stealing character Brenda Walsh will be coming back to America's most famous zip code for the first-season finale of the CW's 90210.

At tonight's Race to Witch Mountain premiere in L.A., Doherty told E!'s Ashlan Gorse that Brenda will return to Beverly Hills: "You're the first people I've told. It is the finale, so you can probably expect a lot of drama."

So what will that drama be?

Doherty left the show several episodes ago, after Brenda and Kelly (Jennie Garth) had a falling out because Brenda had hooked up with Kelly's love interest, Ryan.

Brenda also learned she could not have children, and the rumor mill is buzzing that she will return to adopt a certain teen mom-to-be's baby (Jessica Lowndes' Adrianna).

Are you glad Brenda's back in the hood? What are you hoping Brenda will do?

The hollywood celebrity Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel to wed this summer

Did Justin Timberlake pop the question?

The singer and his girlfriend Jessica Biel are engaged and preparing for a summer wedding, according to Britain's Metro newspaper.

The couple are reportedly planning to tie the knot in a romantic Italian ceremony.

"They both like the idea of marrying there in the summer," a source reveals.

Timberlake recently sparked engagement rumors after he was spotted looking at diamond rings in New York.

"Justin was really taking his time looking round the rings. He made the staff get a couple out of the cabinets so he could properly look at them," the insider says.

The couple made a cameo appearance on "Saturday Night Live" last weekend, with Biel slipping into the role of cartoon temptress Jessica Rabbit.

The twosome joined forces in 2007, nearly a year after Timberlake split from Cameron Diaz.

The hollywood actress Jessica Biel’s Big Apple birthday

Jessica Biel celebrated her birthday with a romantic night in New York.

The ‘Easy Virtue’ actress turned 27 on Tuesday (03.03.09) and enjoyed an intimate dinner with her boyfriend Justin Timberlake at the Oak Room, located within luxury hotel The Plaza.

After their meal, the pair – who set up home together in New York – went to see comedian Will Ferrell’s one-man show ‘You're Welcome America. A Final Night With George W. Bush’.

Wearing a black coat and pale yellow scarf, Jessica only had eyes for her boyfriend during the evening and seemed irritated when their date was caught on camera by waiting paparazzi.

Justin and Jessica – who have been dating for around two years – were seen moving clothes and bags into their new apartment last month.

Although neither has spoken about their decision to live together, Justin’s mother Lynn Harless confirmed: "The apartment is great. He's loving it!"

The move is the first time Justin and Jessica - who were seen looking at a $2.9 million duplex in the area last October - have officially lived together.

The hollywood celebrity Jessica Simpson to perform Friday in New Orleans

On the heels of Britney Spears' "Circus" concert Tuesday in New Orleans comes pop star-turned-country music singer Jessica Simpson.

Simpson is set to perform Friday at the New Orleans Arena, the venue occupied earlier this week by Spears and her first concert tour in five years, "Circus."

Simpson is on the tail end of a two-month tour with the country music group Rascal Flatts. She is expected to perform songs from her debut country album, "Do You Know," which includes the love song to her Dallas quarterback boyfriend Tony Romo, "You're My Sunday."

The tour has already hit more than 20 cities since launching in Kansas City, Mo., on Jan. 17. After New Orleans, it heads to Phoenix and San Diego before ending in Irvine, Calif., on March 14.

Jennifer Hudson: ‘I’m in a very good place’

Fresh off wowing the crowds at the Super Bowl and picking up her first Grammy Award, Jennifer Hudson continued her professional comeback today with a stop on Oprah Winfrey’s couch.

Although there was no specific mention of Hudson’s family tragedy last fall (Winfrey attended the Chicago funeral for the Oscar winner’s mother, brother and nephew), Hudson did open up about how she’s feeling after several turbulent months.

“I’m good,” she said. “I’m really good. I’m just glad to be back and be back to working and just doing what I love to do…I’m in a very good place.”

Her renewed mood was owed in part, she said, to her resurgence on the national stage, saying that performing for her is “like therapy,” despite any nerves that may go along with performing on, say, the biggest television event of the year.

Of her Super Bowl national anthem, Hudson said there “was too much going on for me to take it in.”

“It’s just like, I’m glad I made it to the end of the song. That’s how I am. OK, I got this now, I’m home. I’m going home now.”

Also providing a needed recent boost was her Grammy win for Best R&B album earlier this month. Whitney Houston was on hand to present her with the honor, something she said “almost surpassed winning” the award itself.

“As soon as she stepped out on the stage, I lost it. That’s when I got emotional.” After the brief live interview, the 27-year-old singer, who said she prays “every morning,” took to the stage to perform her new single, “If This Isn’t Love.” Hudson is set to embark on a multicity tour this spring, coheadlining with fellow R&B star Robin Thicke.

The popular singer Shakira back in Colombia to help disadvantaged children get education

Her entourage recently travelled to a school her charity Fondacion Pies Descalzos in the remote and poor north-west border province of Choco, deep in the Colombian jungle.

"One-hundred per cent of our kids that we have in our school here have been displaced or have families that have fled their home towns," the BBC quoted one of the member of the travelling team as telling its reporter Rajesh Mirchandani.

The online report reveals that Shakira has visited the school several times, and each time she is surrounded by exuberant children as she makes her way down dirty, pot-holed streets, past wooden shacks and open sewers.

Shakira is welcomed not only because she is a famous pop star, but also because she provides a lifeline in the area of grinding poverty.

Another wardrobe low note: Frumpy Janet Jackson morphs into Ugly Betty

She's the woman who inspired the term 'wardrobe malfunction' after she spilled out of her costume in front of 90million viewers at the 2004 Superbowl.

And yesterday Janet Jackson had yet another fashion disaster, albeit of a decidedly less racy nature.

The singer stepped out in Los Angeles looking just like the famously frumpy lead character from the hit US series Ugly Betty.

She was almost unrecognisable in thick reading glasses and a shapeless top that was about as flattering as Miss Suarez's trademark Guadalajara poncho.

The 42-year-old, a notorious yo-yo dieter, kept her curvier frame hidden under the floppy sweatshirt and oversized tracksuit trousers.

She finished off her less than glamorous look with a pair of grey Ugg boots.

Janet has been keeping a low profile in recent months after she cancelled a string of of tour dates late last year due to illness.

Her producer boyfriend Jermaine Dupri later denied rumours the pair were expecting a baby.
